- Established in 1957, Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin, is located on the west side of Madison, nestled among a bustling area of shops, beautiful deluxe apartments, condos, and homes.
It consists of 30 acres, divided into nine gardens. Throughout are winding roads lined with large trees. The first burial occurred in July 1957, with only one garden ready for use. The rest of the acreage was still farmland until 1975, when a chapel and crematory were opened.
