This cemetery was laid out and plotted in 1857 but contains many older stones moved there from other cemeteries. The gravestone for Sarah Tripp dated 12 Oct 1823 states, "This monument the first erected in this Grave Yard." St. Michael's Church cemetery was moved here, and later some stones were moved back next to the church building.
