Established in 1873, Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, is located between Rt. 724 and Rt. 422, at the intersection of Hanover Street and Rt. 724.
It is the third oldest cemetery in Pottstown and one of the most beautiful. It has two-century-old trees, blooming flowers, impressive statue features, and a prominent mausoleum visible from almost anywhere on the grounds. Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum is one of the only cemeteries in the area that still allows upright memorials (headstones), as well as slanted memorials and bronze markers.
