A San Papago Cemetery. In 1980, the National Park Service stabilized 34 Sand Papago graves at Quitobaquito in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Before this, data were collected on those interred there by interviewing their relatives and surviving Sand Papagos. This information and the physical evidence at the cemetery were used to determine the cemetery's age (A.D. 1900-1945).
